If People’s Self-Defense wants to join a coalition with BYUT and PR, it must quit OU faction – Zvarych
“If People’s Self-Defense party wants to join a coalition with BYUT and Party of Regions, its lawmakers must quit our faction. It will be an honest step on their part, because under no conditions will OU join a coalition with the PR,” OU faction deputy head Roman Zvarych said, commenting on a statement by BYUT that consultations on forming a coalition are being held with PSD, PR and Lytvyn bloc. According to Zvarych, PSD is made up of young and, therefore, over-ambitious politicians. “If they choose to start their political careers plunging in such hypocrisy, I think, their careers will soon be ended,” he warned.Commenting on the recent anti-Yushchenko statements by PSD leader Yury Lutsenko, Zvarych said that to be a No.1 on the NUNS roster and sling the mud on the president is an unbecoming behavior for a politician.
Summing up, Zvarych said that for the first time over the past 3 weeks BYUT has told the truth about its coalition talks with the PR. Earlier, the talks were shrouded in secrecy. “At the moment, I have information that they [PR and BYUT] are in the middle of distributing the posts,” Zvarych said.
