Chernivtsi businessmen favor credits in euro and hryvnia over dollar credits
Businessmen in the Chernivtsi oblast do not expect either strengthening or weakening of the hryvnia against the dollar. Their next credit 50% of businessmen will take in the hryvnia or euro. They are not interested in dollar credits, Central Bank Chernivtsi branch press service release said July 22 in the wake of its survey of businessmen.In total, the number of businessmen willing to take credits has grown by 5.2% to 63.1%, with the number of those who want to take credits in the hryvnia up by 1.8% to reach 78.4%.
The main hurdles for businessmen are too high interest rates, 93.3%of respondents) and overly high mortgage terms (53.3% of respondents).

The Central bank survey was held in May 2008, involving 1,296 companies all over Ukraine, with 15 most representative companies in the Chernivtsi oblast.
