Security Service foils attempt by two high-ranking managers in Lviv to sell defense secrets to a foreign country
SBU officials have exposed two managers of one of Lviv defense sector companies who wanted to sell to a foreign country technical documentation important for Ukraine’s defense. “The issue is related to missile defense technologies.” Lviv SBU branch head Anatoly Matios said June 23, speaking at a press conference.The two managers could inflict considerable damage to Ukraine’s defense capacity, Gen. Matios said. “We stopped the leak abroad of military technology. Not only did we prevent economic losses, we also foiled an attempt to weaken Ukraine’s defense capacity,” he added.
