Ivano-Frankivsk oblast gets $430 million of foreign investment in 2008
In Jan.-Apr. 2008, foreign businessmen have invested $430 million in projects implemented in the Ivano-Frankivsk oblast, the oblast statistics department said May 22.Major investors hail from the Netherlands, with $144 million, Poland, with $55.4 million, Germany, with $30.3 million, and Serbia with $45.1 million.
In total, businessmen from 27 countries have invested in the oblast economy, including $5.2 million from the USA and $12.1 million from Canada.
