Lviv cop arrested for taking a $15,000 bribe
Security service and police internal security officers have detained an anti-economic crimes squad policeman when he was taking a $4,000-bribe, SBU press service told ZIK Apr. 24.This is a part of the $15,000 bribe the cop and his colleagues were demanding from a local resident for letting him off the hook for dealing in drugs.
The prosecution has already opened a criminal investigation, charging the policeman with extorting and receiving a bribe.
