Commenting on the emergence of new partiers, R. Knyazevych noted that Ukraine needs the parties with clear-cut ideological platforsm, not clannish parties. “In this respect, the newly formed parties have no political future,” he stressed.

He cited the recent rapprochement between the new United Center party headed by Ihor Kril and NDP. “Both parties have the same history of their emergence (as breakaway parties) and the same political future lies in store for them,” Knyazevych added.

The defection to United Center of several lawmakers from the our Ukraine faction in VR will not be noticeable. “Those lawmakers who defected from OU yesterday and who joined forced with NDP today are political deadwood and no good for OU,” he stressed.
