“Before his appointment as acting Lviv oblast governor, only 18.1% of residents and 25% of businessmen supported him, as businessmen are more in the know about Kmit’s past record. Apparently, the governor had a too short spell in office for residents to know him well, Antypovych observed.

Meanwhile, 52% of businessmen and 46.8% of residents disapprove of Lviv oblast council head Myroslav Senyk. According to Antypovych, M. Senyk never had high approval rating in the city. His support among the rural residents is higher, probably, due to Senyk’s better track record with them.
