New fast railway can enable Ukrainians to get to 5-6 EU countries in 5 hours

In his comments on a project to build a fast-track railway ahead of Euro-2012 football tournament, head of construction and development department at the Lviv oblast administration Stepan Lukashyk said there will be funding by the state and the project can be implemented only with the help of investors. - The project has been showcased at an international forum in Poland. It will take 2 years to modernize the railway. According to experts, the railway will recoup itself already in the first year of operation, even with only four train running. In addition, a new railway station is to be built in Lviv. Ukrainians will be able to travel to 5-6 European countries in 5 hours, Stepan Lukashyk told the ZIK reporter.
