Blessed by Turchynov, Lutsk deputies threaten to sack Mayor Shyba

According to council insiders, of the total 45 deputies, over 30 have signed a motion to sack the mayor, or two-thirds of the needed majority needed to vote out the mayor.
One of the initiators of mayor’s dismissal told ZIK that the motion had been allegedly okayed by Oleksandr Turchynov, Yulia Tymoshenko’s right hand man.
Under the law, in case of a vote of no-confidence in the mayor, new mayoral elections are to be held within 6 months.
According to the same source, a hot favorite for the mayor’s office is former Volyn oblast Governor Volodymyr Bondar who is currently out of work.
Another contender for a mayor’s seat is scandal-ridden former Lutsk Mayor Anton Kryvytsky. However, Kryvytsky may drop out of the race and back his loyal supporter Svyatoslav Kravchuk, the present deputy Volyn governor.
Given so many influential politicos have their eyes on a Lutsk mayor’s seat, the chances of the incumbent mayor’s dismissal are pretty high.
However, there is a logical question: Don’t the events in Lutsk show that the Yulia Tymoshenko bloc has started to fall apart? And can it snowball over Ukraine leading to BYuT disintegration?
