Lviv oblast: accident in coalmine kills one, injures two miners
A fall of the ground at 6.25 a.m. on Feb. 28 in a 490-m deep mine in Sosnivka, Sokal rayon, Lviv oblast, killed one miner and injured two, the ZIK correpondent reports.Coal ministry rescue workers evacuated the victims at 7.00 a.m., rushing the injured miners to a city hospital. The authorities are presently investigating the cause of the accident.

According to reports, a 49-year old miner was killed, another miner received a back injury and the third victim was injured in his chest.
