Crooks emptying church donations box in Lviv oblast filmed by video camera
Every Christmas the Greek Catholic church in Horodok sets up an out-of-doors sculptural show portraying biblical scenes. Parishioners, praying there drop their donations in a locked box nearby. Much to the surprise of local priests, in the last 2 or 3 years the box remained empty.It led them to install a video camera on the spot, ZIK correspondent reports.
Currently, the local police are examining footage showing four well known local residents. One of them is an alcoholic, the other two are a married couple. Interestingly, the crooks established a sort of a line for emptying the box.
